Washed Gravel

Washed River Rock, also known as Gravel, has a smooth texture and surface because of the natural weathering and wear of being exposed to the effects of running water. Unlike crushed stone, gravel is sold in it's natural state. Pete Lien & Sons' gravel comes in a variety of sizes to meet your project needs.

Do you have round river rock - used for landscaping and rock gardens?

Yes, our sand & gravel plants offer round river rock that is washed and is used for landscaping purposes. It is available from the sand & gravel plants or local retailers.

When does it make sense to purchase from Pete Lien & Sons vs. local retailer's for sand & gravel?

Our loading equipment is designed to load large volume trailers, and as a result isn't safe to load small volumes (ie: pickup trucks). As a rule of thumb, if you are looking for 10+ tons of aggregate, it is recommended to purchase directly from Pete Lien & Sons. Anything less than 10 tons can be purchased through a local retailer who inventories Pete Lien & Sons' products.

Do you do delivery?

Although Pete Lien & Sons doesn't have delivery equipment for aggregates, we work closely with many local transportation companies in order to ensure our customers have access to all of our products. We are happy to refer you to local haulers who are familiar with delivering our products.
