Chuck Lien Family Park
The Lien family donated land in downtown Rapid City to honor Chuck & Barb Lien through the creation of the Chuck Lien family Park, an outdoor park for everyone in the local area to enjoy for years to come.
This is just one of the many ways Pete Lien & Sons and family give back to our communities.
Touch-A-Truck
Pete Lien & Sons hosts and supports local Touch-A-Truck events wherekids and their families get to safely explore giant trucks, earth movers, drilling rigs, and other massive mobile machines!
Youth Sports
Pete Lien & Sons helped fund a new field for Rapid City’s Post 320 team. Today this field is called Pete Lien Memorial Field, and is maintained with Pete Lien & Sons Super Slide – Infield Mix.
In addition to the Pete Lien Memorial Field, our company and team members have donated time and resources to many local youth sports in our region.
University and Technical School Support
Pete Lien & Sons works closely with regional and state universities, including South Dakota School of Mines & Technology along with University of Wyoming to support programs such as senior design projects, research projects and product development.
The company supports local technical schools such as WYO-Tech and Western Dakota Technology to help future technicians gain real life experience.
Local School Resources
Pete Lien & Sons and team members are committed to ensuring the students in local schools have the resources needed to be successful. From mentoring to leading a lesson plan to educate students about the importance our products play in their everyday lives, Pete Lien & Sons proudly supports local youth education!
Community Support during Crisis
Pete Lien & Sons is located in communities that have experienced devastating storms. When a big weather event occurs that impacts our communities, Pete Lien & Sons’ equipment and personnel aid in cleanup efforts.
