In recognition of Arbor Day and its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, Pete Lien & Sons recently hosted our annual Tree Planting Event, a longstanding tradition that brings together employees, family members, and community values in celebration of sustainability and conservation.
The event serves as an opportunity for the company to reinforce its dedication to concurrent mining reclamation while encouraging future generations to appreciate the importance of creating a sustainable community. Employees and their families gathered to participate in tree planting activities, helping contribute to concurrent reclamation and a healthier future for local communities.
A highlight of this year’s celebration was the children’s coloring contest, which invited young artists from Pete Lien & Sons families to showcase their creativity and imagination. Participants were encouraged to design original artwork inspired by themes of nature, community, and environmental responsibility. The contest attracted numerous entries, each reflecting the unique talents and artistic vision of the children involved.
A selection of winning designs was chosen to be featured prominently on Pete Lien & Sons Ready Mix Trucks and a company billboard.
